Lubricants for efficient stamping of automotive parts, household appliances and heavy machinery. Our forming fluids allow material to flow without welding events between the die and the part.
Cold forming processes are widely used in the automotive, heavy machinery and appliance industries and include stamping (simple or progressive), bending, blank cutting or punching in various materials such as steel, galvanized steel, galvanneal or aluminum.
Line of fluids and lubricants for forming:
• Direct fluids: they are oil based, not dispersible in water. They are used in very severe operations, with deep deformation in thick materials.
• Water-based fluids: they offer the widest range of application, for very diverse operations of medium and high severity. They are prepared in concentrated form for field dilution to reduce shipping and storage costs. They offer excellent performance and die protection. The residual layer protects against corrosion and in most cases its removal is not necessary to proceed to assembly (welding).
• Evanescent or evaporative: for medium and light forms. They leave very thin residual layers (can be smooth or dry to the touch) that do not need to be removed for further processing. Our fluids are designed to protect against corrosion during storage and not cause staining between styled parts.
